Terms of use

MedTips is a pharmacy selling over-the-counter and prescription medicines online. Prescription items are dispensed only under the supervision of our registered pharmacist, whose registration details are on our contact page.

Schedule H and H1 medicines are dispensed only against a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner. You upload your prescription after placing the order; our pharmacist reviews every one by hand. No prescription is ever approved automatically.

An order containing prescription items stays pending until that review is complete. If we cannot accept your prescription we tell you why, and you can upload a replacement. An order left without an accepted prescription for 72 hours is cancelled automatically, and nothing is charged.

We do not dispense Schedule X medicines.

Prices shown are the maximum retail price for the exact strength and pack you select, inclusive of all taxes. The price and pack details recorded on your order are fixed at the moment you place it — a later change to our catalogue never rewrites a past order.

If your cart contains both prescription and over-the-counter medicines, it is placed as two separate orders so the over-the-counter items are not held up by the prescription review. You pay one delivery fee for the checkout, not one per order.

We may be unable to fulfil an order — most often because a pack sold out between your order and our packing it. We will tell you and cancel the affected order; you are charged nothing.

MedTips is cash on delivery only. We take no card, UPI or bank details at any point, and nothing is charged before your order arrives. Anyone asking you for payment details in our name is not us.

We deliver only to pincodes we currently serve. You can check yours before ordering, and checkout will tell you if an address is outside our area.

Your delivery address is recorded on the order as you gave it at checkout. Editing a saved address later does not change where an order already placed is sent.

You can cancel an order yourself at any time before it is handed to the courier, from the order’s own page. After that, see our returns and refunds page.

You need an account to hold a cart and place an order. You are responsible for the accuracy of the delivery details you give us, and for the security of the email address you sign in with.
