Cancellation and returns
You pay nothing until your order arrives, so cancelling costs you nothing. Returning a dispensed medicine is a different question, and the answer is mostly no.
Cancelling before dispatch
You can cancel any order yourself, from the order’s own page, at any point before it is handed to the courier. Nothing is charged, because nothing is charged until delivery.
We may also cancel an order ourselves — most often because a pack sold out before we packed it, or because we could not accept the prescription. We tell you which, and you pay nothing.
An order waiting on a prescription that has not arrived within 72 hours is cancelled automatically. You can place it again once you have the prescription to hand.
Refusing delivery
Because every order is cash on delivery, you can simply decline it at the door. No money changes hands and there is nothing to refund.
After delivery
Medicines cannot be returned once they have left our custody. A medicine that has been out of the pharmacy’s control cannot be certified for storage conditions, and re-dispensing it to someone else would be unsafe. This is a safety rule, not a commercial one.
There are two exceptions, and we want to hear about both:
If we sent you the wrong medicine, the wrong strength or the wrong pack, contact us. We collect it and send the right one at our cost.
If what arrived is damaged, or is at or past its expiry date, contact us with a photograph before using it. We replace it at our cost.
Tell us within 48 hours of delivery where you can, so we can trace the batch.
Refunds
MedTips takes no payment in advance, so there is no refund path and nothing of yours is ever held. Where we owe you a replacement, we send a replacement.
Disposing of medicines
Please do not flush unused medicines or put them in household waste. Your nearest pharmacy or hospital can direct you to a take-back point.
