Privacy
What we collect, why, and who can see it — in particular your prescriptions, which are the most sensitive thing you give us.
What we collect
Your email address, which is how you sign in. The name on your account. The delivery addresses you save, each with its own contact name and phone number for the courier. Your cart and your order history. And, for prescription orders, the prescription images you upload.
We collect no payment information of any kind, because MedTips is cash on delivery.
Prescriptions
Prescription images are stored in private storage that is not publicly readable. They are never served from a public address. When you or our pharmacist view one, the image is reached through a signed link that expires within minutes.
They are visible to you and to our reviewing pharmacist. They are not used for advertising, not shared with other customers, and not sold to anyone.
Your delivery pincode
The “deliver to” pincode shown in the header is stored in your own browser, not on our servers, and is a convenience for showing you whether we serve your area. The address an order is actually sent to is the one you choose at checkout.
We email you sign-in codes and updates about your orders — placed, confirmed, shipped, delivered or cancelled. These are transactional: they are part of the service, not marketing, and we do not send promotional email.
How long we keep things
Orders are kept as a record of what was dispensed, which is a pharmacy’s obligation as well as your receipt. Prescription images are kept alongside the order they authorise. Images from an upload that was abandoned part-way are deleted automatically.
Your choices
You can edit your name and your saved addresses from your account at any time. Removing an address does not change where an order already placed is sent — that address was recorded on the order when you placed it.
To ask for a copy of your data, or for your account to be deleted, contact the pharmacy. Account deletion is handled by hand for now.
Cookies
We set one cookie, and only once you sign in: the one that keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site.
